The clay themed hiking trail with its two 11 km long hiking routes, the red clay themed trail and the blue clay themed trail, provides an insight into the hidden treasures of the southern Westerwald: in the clay pits near Boden, Niederahr, Moschheim and Ruppach-Goldhausen you will find the raw materials for the famous Westerwald salt glaze ceramics and countless other products made from clay.
